The End of an Era...

September 2025 marks a significant milestone in Scoil Mhuire's history as after 97 proud years as a senior boys' school we will enter into a phased transition towards becoming a vertical coeducation school. This means that boys and girls of all ages will now learn and grow together, across each stage of their primary education.

This change of status marks the end of an era: one that has shaped generations of Marino boys with care, tradition, and pride. While we say a fond farewell to that chapter of our shared history, we look ahead with great enthusiasm to a more inclusive future that reflects the diverse world our pupils are growing up in.

While we can’t wait to embark on this new journey with our pupils, families, and staff, today we want to mark this special cohort of young men who will be the last in Scoil Mhuire history to know us as a senior boys' school. Let's hear it for the boys!
