Maths Week is always a special occasion here in Scoil Mhuire, and this year - as well as participating in classroom-based problem-solving activities - each of our pupils from 3rd to 6th Class had the opportunity to engage in a very special Maths Week Challenge.
Their mission - in 20 minutes or less - was to free the White Rabbit and prevent him from becoming the Queen of Hearts' dinner! Boys showed great reasoning skills, great numerical skill, and great logic in solving the various puzzles encountered.
This was a challenging series of puzzles, so a massive congratulations to all of the groups that successfully liberated the White Rabbit!
