Maths Week is always a very special occasion here in Scoil Mhuire, and this year - as well as going on Maths Trails in the local environment, and attending Mathemagical shows in MIE - all of our pupils had the opportunity to engage in a very special Maths Week Challenge.
Their mission, in 20 minutes or less, was to solve a series of riddles and puzzles in order to free the wand of the Fairy Godmother. Boys showed great reasoning skills, great numerical skill, and great logic in solving the various puzzles and problems encountered.
This was a tremendously difficult challenge, and a massive congratulations to all of the groups that managed it!
