Last week we were delighted to welcome a documentary crew from TG4 to film on-site here in Scoil Mhuire.
Focusing on the revitalisation of Dublin football - and the integral role that the All-Ireland win of 1974 played - the documentary brought former players to revisit the school and reminisce about school visits with Sam Maguire.
We had the opportunity to look at old photographs of the team visit to Scoil Mhuire in 1974, to hear about how it feels to win an All-Ireland final, and to ask our past-pupils if they'd enjoyed success with Scoil Mhuire's football and hurling teams of the past!
The documentary is set to air over the Christmas period, so we'll see then if we made the cut!
