Earlier this week, pupils in both of our intake cohorts had the opportunity to spend some time with their 6th Class buddy. The buddy programme aims to ease the transition to Scoil Mhuire, as the support of the 6th Class helps our new pupils to settle in quickly, to make friends, and to grow in confidence as they begin their learning journey with us.
Each week for the month of September our 6th Class pupils will be meeting with their younger buddies in order to tell them all about life here in Scoil Mhuire. This week the buddies took to the yard and participated in a wide variety of activities ranging from chalk drawing to target practice. Take a look for yourself!
