FAI Cup Success

We were delighted to welcome Adam Murphy back to Scoil Mhuire earlier this morning. 

Adam - a past pupil of the school - has enjoyed great success on the football pitch, representing the Republic of Ireland at under-15, under-17, and under-21 level. He also played for the St Patrick's Athletic side that recently defeated Bohemians in the FAI Cup Final. 

Adam took the time to answer our many questions about life as a footballer: about balancing schoolwork and his commitment to sport; game preparation; his toughest opponents; his favourite players; and about his hopes for the future. 

We were all so impressed by Adam, not just by his many sporting achievements to date, but also by his commitment to education and the lovely manner in which he answered all of our questions.
