In order to create an environment that is more pollinator-friendly, here in Scoil Mhuire we have made the decision to stop mowing portions of the lawn and allow our native flowers to reclaim their natural habitat. 

In the spring and summer months there are bees and insects aplenty as plants such as dandelion, red clover, bird's-foot trefoil, buttercups, and selfheal take over.
